The Acute Services Building, Christchurch Hospital
The Acute Services Building at Christchurch Hospital now known as ‘Waipapa’ is the South Island’s largest hospital building, and home to many of Canterbury DHB’s acute services. PFPA was chosen to provide passive fire proofing for this project.
Bupa Parkstone Retirement Village, Ilam, Christchurch
PFPA were engaged by Armitage Williams Group to provide passive solutions and installation for Stage A & D of the village. The new Ilam development consists of 49 stylish two-bedroom apartments split over three levels.
Forté Health
PFPA were involved with passive fire protection at Forté – one of New Zealand’s safest and most environmentally friendly buildings and the only hospital to achieve four green star certification.
Akaroa Fire Station
Akaroa Fire Station’s passive works were completed by the experienced team at Passive Fire Protection Applicators Ltd.
Anzac Fire Station, Wainoni, Christchurch
PFPA were selected to complete all passive fire protection at ANZAC Fire Station. BOSS Fyreboxes were installed as part of the package.
Waimakariri District Council
Passive Fire Protection Applicators have been involved in retrofit work at The Waimakariri District Council Buildings. This worked involved careful planning to ensure operational continuance.

Passive Fire Protection Applicators was invited to carry out the passive works at 112 Cashel Street which included a penthouse and retail stores.
